    mp3s?

Another stupid question: Can MMF2 play mp3s normally, or do you have to go through some confusing programming to do it, or is there a new build to do it, or none of the above?

    Re: mp3s?

The trouble with using MP3s is the licensing issues associated with them. This is why MMF doesn't support them natively. You can, however, convert them to OGG format and play them through the normal sound object.

...uhh, OGG? I have no software that can convert anything to OGG, unless I find something else.

Audacity can do it if I remember correctly.

Well, I should try it. Now, is OGG format just as big as WAVs? (as in file size?) if so, that doesn't help.

OGG is smaller and higher quality then MP3 plus is license free so you do not have to pay to use it.

    Hi, Cookie.

I know of a really good program that can convert lots of formats:
    http://www.nch.com.au/switch/plus.html

It's FREE. And it can convert anything into OGG format.
