a question about MMF2 object limits?

I have just hit a huge block in the middle of my TGF2 game construction project (ultimate). I was going to try and be all old-school and finish this game completely in TGF (1.06), but all of a sudden I can't place any new objects down. I suspect it's due to having too many objects in one level, because I think I remember reading something about that once in like 1997.

I really need to know for sure: Does MMF2 have a limit on the number of objects that can exist in a frame?

And #2: If it does, is it at least significantly higher than the object limit in TGF?

It doesnt have a limit as such. It is set to 300 objects per frame, you need to go in and change this number to something higher. Then it will work.

I hope one day this could be dynamic, so people dont need to worry about changing it.
