    Fading out / in question

Hi all, I'm making a fun game which I'm pretending is published by Nintendo and produced by Rare.

I have the Nintendo logo appear at startup on a white background which then fades to white and moves to the rare logo (next frame) which is also a white background. However, I can't get the 2nd logo to fade in properly. It looks like it does the 2 second fade sequence but the logo will just suddenly appear on the screen. It then proceeds to fade out ok, logo included, but this isn't quite what I want.

Is there not a way of getting the logo to fade in properly or is it because I have a white background that it's not happy?

    Thanks for anyone's help,

    Regards,

    Jon.

PS, here is the file: My file

Your file hasn't uploaded correctly... what type of object is the logo? Try checking "Create before fade-in transition" on whatever it is.

Ah that did it! I ticked the box and it worked! Many thanks for your help. I'm not sure why the file didn't upload properly but I suppose it doesn't matter now!

    Thanks again!
