    Another isometric engine

Another isometric platform engine. It has some glitches, but it is easier to understand than RedHades' iso engine (no offence). There is only one loop at the beginning to assign each cube X,Y,Z coordanites. help for fixing is appreciated.

I like this one aswell. It has a good collision sensing although mabye you could get by without all the different height programming.

    Hi

    It looks very nice.
Btw: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I find it really hard to understand the code of such complex code. I wished there would be an step-by step tutorial as doc or pdf format.

    Regards Peter

This is really slow for me. Also the Z ordering seemed a little off at times.

    Re: Another isometric engine

Truly, the only way to work this out is by using an array that actually simulates the 3d environment (you don't really need active's for that). Otherwise, you get a lot of actives and needless confusion.
