    I can see the problem, yeh its kind of strange. The other issue I see is that the play button in the animation editor doesn't represent what going on on the playfield.

    If you delete the square it also shows the a difference.

    The other thing I don't understand is why it won't change direction . ie delete all the flags and use L pressed action change direction to left and the same for R. This is a bug I think. B243Beta.


    Ah just realised this character has platform movement activated and requires the left key and right key to activate, the direction of animation correctly. Basically I think the plateform movement is interfering with the key strokes and flag settings.

    It looks like you're right...when I made it into a static object, the problem went away. I was hoping I wouldn't have to change this, because although I don't rely on the platform movement for jumping, I do rely on it for other directions, and recoding is going to take forever...ughh...maybe it'll be fixed once the official update comes out...

    oh yeah, thanks for looking at that. if i download the 242 build, will it revert back to the older build and get rid of the 243 stuff that's messing with the game?
