    Best way to learn Lua...?

The only "programming" I do is through MMF2... I messed around with HTML back in 3.x days, but not heavily. I'm interested in learning Lua because I'm hoping that will open the capabilities of what I can do through MMF2. (basically, to have another tool in the tool belt.)

    thanks.

Lua is rather extensive. You can visit the website www.lua.org for all the code.

Lua can be used to store arrays, values, run functions, edit files, calculate expressions e.t.c

I only use it to calculate expressions at runtime because everything else can be done using other extensions.

There is a Lua Example at http://raytrace.sitesled.com#Examples

Can't you calculate expressions at runtime using another extension? I can't remember the name now.

The Lua Object has a plus in that it's so fast and really simple to use... I learned Lua from making World of Warcraft mods and has used it since... Very nice programming language imo!

Also the Lua Object can store variables and use them in calculations unlike other evaluators
