    Suggestion: "Search" box

This has probably been suggested before, but for those of us with a TON of code, organization problems, or the inability to be concise:
For the next update you should make a Search box or Find box so that if one knows the specific event/condition line he's look for in the event editor but there's too much to sift through, you can type in some keywords and MMF2 will bring up all the relivant lines. That would be VERY useful.

    I'm agree with this idea.

And like I've already proposed, it could be useful too to have static numbers for each lines of code even if some groups are closed.

Yeah, and the possibility to add flags, you could then jump from flag to flag.

Hehe, good idea. Maybe (if you're one to comment code) a "search comments" button, if you don't want the search to bring up events.

Sub-groups made things really better, but there are good ideas here to improve code-reading, i wish they were implemented someday.

    Re: Suggestion: "Search" box

Search box is a good idea, its been suggested before, and is on the wish list. But it isn't as important as other features in MMF2. When MMF2 was being developed the search feature just wasn't at the top of the features wish list. In fact it was pretty far down the list.

Outlining and comments are much more important. I've reviewed lots of code and if you are having to search for something IMHO you are not coding effectively to start with.

In isolation a search function looks good, but in the context of other features and how its used in coding its not really important. For example, if you were Clickteam, would you focus on Vitalize4 and PocketPC Runtime or worry about developing a search function?

If you want to add features to the wish list I suggest adding it here.

For the MMF2 IDE I would suggest adding it here.
