    The Explorer object - reward

    Hello.

If someone can improve the explorer object to support a right click function similar to the one you find when using WindowsExplorer. (Properties, rename, copy, make shortcut, etc). And make drag and drop support so you can move files and drop them in folders. I will be buying MMF 2 Developer in a instant.

Well, if you bought MMF2 dev you'll find that you can do this allready. You can create a right click event and show the popup menu and other objects to get the information you want.

That sounds very useful, but how do you do it. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place.
    Thanks,

Yes I know that you can make your own right click menu. But it lacks some key features. But the most important thing here is the drag and drop ability. (And the ability to drag files from the original windowsExplorer or from your desktop into your MMF2Explorer object(window).

Yes you can do drag n drop - see the special conditions object.

You drag to the frame and you detect where the mouse is.

Wait... what's the point in that? I mean, they are both file explorers. If you want to move/copy files to another folder, you can just easily do that with the Windows Explorer.

I suppose its helpful in the way that it conforms to standards. For example you can drag files into most Open dialogue boxes and they will sit in the folder.

But yes, a good way is to use the Popup Menu extension and say On Right Click show menu at mouse. In the Popup Menu, have whatever you want, (say Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete etc.)

To go one more from that you could even add a dialogue window to confirm a change like delete; so if you say yes to delete then it carries out the operation.

    Yes thank you.

I would really like to see "drag and drop" function set into the explorer object.
