    Best extension for saving data?

    Hi,

In my game I have a lot of data being saved on the server (atm mooclick) and I'm wondering whats the best way of saving data (not the easiest, the best), I've tried the INI extension but its too slow for saving/loading, Named Variable is bugged, and I have a feeling that AssoisativeArray is lagging the server.

So my question is, whats the best way of saving data (strings/values)?

I think associative array is the best.

It depends on what you are trying to do. The most efficient way is to write all your data to a text box and then save it & encrypted it if needed.

The binary object is also a powerful object that is very useful but complicated.

The most compatible way of saving a file is to use XML, although if I want a structured hierachy I usually use the tree object - which is another main player in saving files. I don't like the way it saves the files so I've made my own way if anyone wants to see that.
