    Re: windows shape

ok i just tried using sub app, it works, but uses alot of memory.

what are you doing this for? a screen saver? if so theres a better way then using windows shape. use "Grab Desktop at start" on the frame properties. you'll need to make it configure the window size depending on the screen resolution......

but using sub apps this is how to do it.

    - Make a 2nd frame.
    - in the settings of the frame set the size to 16x16 and the background colour to red
    - in frame 1 create a "Sub application" object and set its settings to:

Source : Frame from this application
    Frame number : 2
    Window Style: Popup Window

    - in event editor create an always event and:
    Create New Obiject: sub-app -100x-100
    Set Sub-app X Position to WinXPos+24
    Set Sub-app Y Position to WinYPos+24

    - Thats roughly it, you need to work on it setting the subapp behind the smiley, and some how delete the old subapps if you want it to.

but be warned doing it like this will use 32mb of memory in no time....
