    Installing Zip files

I am new to MMF2 and am testing out the demo. I have found some tutorials but they are in zip files. I don't know where to extract them to in order to view them. Can you help? Thank You.

    Re: Installing Zip files

If you have Windows XP then right click on the file and select "Extract all". If you are using an older version of Windows then you need a piece of software such as the free 7-Zip (or commercial Winzip and Power Archiver) to decompress the file.

It doesn't need to be extracted to any specific folder. You could create a folder specifically for the tutorials and give each zip file a subfolder within that.

    Re: Installing Zip files

I got it now. Thank you. Some programs I use require that the zip file be un-zipped into the program. That is what was getting me confused.

Is there a place to ask others what they think about MMF2? I am thinking about buying it. Though I have other programs I find they have to big a learning curve for me.

Extensions need to be unzipped into the correct place, but not tutorials. You could try asking about MMF2 on the chatroom.

You have to use your forum username and password. People aren't active on it all of the time.
