I remember an extremely easy-to-use object for online multiplayer called the Multiplayer Online object. (Or something similar to that.)
It had a host, and multiple users could join the host over tcp-ip and other methods. It made multiplayer games very easy to design.
I am wondering if something like this exists for MMF2, or if someone would be willing to make it. There were many things left out of the 1.5 extention, so there would need to be some things added, though, for example:
Join game by name and type (no dialog for the user, but automatically joins the game specified. The user of the extention would also enter the method used to connect to the host.)
Host game with name and type (specify a name and type of connection. This program now hosts a game with that name and connection type.)
If this new Online Multiplayer object could be created, that would be great. Please do not tell me to use MooClick without also telling me where to find a good tutorial for it.
(The main reason I want this extention is to make a MMORPG. It would, of course, be a very valuable extention. )
