    Problem with Layers

    Hi!
    I have a big problem with Layers in MMF2. I would like to make a Parallaxing Scrolling, but when I add a new Layer (even if it's empty), game works much slower Can I do something to change it? Maybe it's because my frame is 3040x1024 pixels and a lot of objects? But it's strange, that game works slower, even when 2nd layer is empty :/ I tried it on several computers and everyone had that problem. Please, help me

    Did you try adjusting the "Number of Objects" in the properties of the frame?

    Yes, it didn't help

    I noticed, that game slows down, when the 2nd layer is in the back. When I add it in front of another layers, game works properly.
    In level which in game slows down, debugger shows 300 objects, 30Mb and (when I add 2nd layer in the back) 18 FPS. That situation is in 1st and 2nd level. In the 3rd level it shows 104 objects, 14Mb and 50 FPS, and then game works properly. But 3rd level isn't ready yet. It doesn't have enemies and collectables yet.
    I'll try to copy 1st level, remove enemies, and then I'll tell you if it is any change.

    EDIT: It didn't help Maybe there's another way to create Parallaxing Scrolling? :/

    Background System Box is what we used in the MMF 1.5 era, before layers were introduced. Basically, you add a patterned image to the object, and position it manually in the event editor.

    Can you write a step by step tutorial how to made Parallaxing Scrolling using Backround System Box?? Pleeease :P
