"so you don't lose it when the battery goes flat."
yeh... its odd, that happens with my 2003 mio 8390 smartphone but not with my 2002 orange spv, the spv is annoying, some idiot (or virus) put 20 alarms on making it basically frozen, and even after leaving it without power for a day, it remembers all bloody 20 :|
but i love the thing MS said about iphone "its rubbish", well lets face it, it is rubbish and a really expensive bit of rubbish... oh great now everyone will be "OH PLZ MAKE IPHONE OUTPUT THINGY CT OH PLZ PLZ PLZ" :\

That's pretty cool. Let's hope the runtime comes after Vitalize then.

Good to know, but it's nearly always been possible to place your files into permanent storage to avoid a wiping of your data should your battery die.

Yeah, but not your system settings or so on. It's a pain to have to set up a Mobile 2003 or earlier device after every time the battery goes flat.

    Re: Another Pocket PC question

Well then do what I do. My Pocket PC may have a large SD card inside but I ask ActiveSync to backup my entire PocketPC every few nights - So if I end up with a dead cell, a quick 60 second restore puts everything back in it's proper place

    Re: Another Pocket PC question

Well, after having to run through the annoying screen calibration and "how to cut/copy/paste a contact" etc tutorials that are forced on you each time after the battery went flat. I'm so glad that the new Pocket PCs don't have this problem.

I'm seriously considering getting one of the new ones now. Specifically one of the hx2000 series ones with wifi looks good.

Especially if the MMF2 runtime comes to it...

Is there any updates as to when this will come out? I'm anxiously awaiting it.

    Re: Another Pocket PC question

Haha I just remembered the contest that has been postponed for over a year now because of Vitalize 4. I think I still have a game I made for it lying around here somewhere...
