    help with bomb engine

    I'm working on a simple bomb engine,but i can't seem to figure out one thing since it's been a while since i've touched TGF (the first one,and now 2).
    The problem i have is how to make an event that says that the moment the bomb go off, the closer an active object (IE, a walking character) is to it the farther it get blown away.
    any sort of help would be appreciated.

    figure out the bomb explosion range, then set the object movement based on the angle of the bomb and the maxrange of the bomb minus the distance of the object.

    Or if you already have a max speed figured out and you dont want to base the speed based on how big the bomb is:

    Speed = (Max Range-Distance)/Distance*Movevalue

    Thanks. I tried some things and eventually succeeded with a different method: I made a shock wave made out of invisible lot of active objects, shooting out of the bomb and losing speed the moment they go out,and whenever a shockwave object hit a character, the character's speed and direction changed to the speed and direction of the shockwave that hit him. Not so sophisticated, but works great.
