    Global qualifiers

    How would one go about creating global qualifiers or a similar effect in MMF2 (build R244)? Is there an extension avaliable, for example?

    I know you used to be able to copy events from a frame's event editor into the global event editor in previous Clickteam products. I'll admit I haven't tried this yet as I remember it being slightly dodgy!

    Qualifiers and global events don't mix in R244, as far as I know.... but IMO, this is something that MMF desparately needs. There were ways to do it in older MMF's, but they were buggy so clickteam deleted them.
    The problem apparently stems from the fact that qualifiers can be applied to different object types, like Active, String, Counter, or Extension, and MMF can't handle the same qualifier being applied to different types in different frames---which action set would you use in the global event editor?

    I'd really like to see a workaround for this, like a dialog that lets you bind certain qualifiers to object types globally, or something... I hate having to choose between global events and qualifiers. It's on the top of my personal wishlist for MMF.

    A workaround in the form of an extension would probably be a huge help to lots of people.

    Simple enough idea I suppose - multiple enemies over different frames and a calculation to see how much damage is taken off based on a few alterable values of each enemy. Qualifiers are perfect in one frame but I'm sure it would become a tedious affair to copy + paste into 50+ frames.

    It is a pain to copy/paste 50 times, though I ended up doing that in a recent game because there isn't a substitute for qualifiers in certain situations.

    There's an idea though... I always considered it to be a bug that should be fixed by Clickteam, but perhaps someone could write an extension to get around it? I'd still like to see MMF's handling of global events and qualifiers fixed, but an extension would be far better than nothing.
