    Jumping Problem

    Hi!

    This is an exemple of a moviment where i used Alterable Value, but it looks impossible to jump using Alterable Value. The game is base on Beat'em-up, i use the character Kassar from Warriors of Fate. Is it possible make it Jump using Alterable Value?

    Well, i'm not sure, but i think if is possible make it jump using Alterable Valeu, we'd have three position, i mean, X,Y and Z; X= front and back, Y=down and up, Z is the current position of X but when substracted from X it jump! Or i'm getting crazy... Lol. Anyone?

    well well well, it's solved and i don't need use collisors anymore, all with alt val, thanks.

    I have a character who walks up, down, left and right, but he can jumps too. Alright, if i press key up, he'll goes up? righ! if press down, he'll move down... and if i press "A", how would it be possible the character jumps and fall, how could it fells the gravity?

    The character has a shodown below him, and the shadow is in a certain X posion, and character have to be over that "X" posion of the shadow. So, if the character's position is the same X shadow position <and "A" isn't pressed>, so, set the character's position to X position. Up pressing "A" substract from "Y" (alterable value) Y char+alter value). At these point, he'll jump, and to fall, we say that if the position of the character is lower "X" position of the shadown, add to Y (alt. value/or counter) of the character.
