Patch Maker 1.2g won't patch properly.

I have two files one is new and one is old. There are different creation and modification dates, different sizes, and the contents have changed. The file names are the same. The patch maker creates a patch using the new and old versions but when I go to patch, it tells me that it is already patched and won't patch it. I look at the file and it is still the old one and not the new one. Does patch maker even look at creation and modification dates??? Is there a way to tell it to replace the file no matter what?

If Patch Maker says that the file has already been patched, then you have made a mistake somewhere. Either you are trying to patch the new file, or you have made the patch in the wrong order (i.e. you have put the old file in the new directory and the new file in the old directory).

Patch Maker doesn't look at the creation and modification dates, it checks the size and the content of the files.
