Why make it more complicated than it needs to be?

    +Mouse is over button
+Repeat while left mouse-key is pressed
    -Add 1 to counter

    Re: Repeat while button pressed

Try holding the mouse key down over the button. With the mouse key still down, move the mouse off the button. See? [smile]

    Re: Repeat while button pressed

Nope, mine stops when I move it off. I tried changing the order of the two conditions but they both work fine.

Oops, wrong way round - try pressing the mouse key down when you are not on the button. Now keep your finger on the mouse key and slide it over the button. The button doesn't show pressed, but the counter increments.

    Re: Repeat while button pressed

It does depend what use you want to put this to in your game. Do you want the user to be able to slide on and off the button and it still count as pushed?

In this example I opted for play safe - just in case you could slide on to the accelerator when you thought your foot was safely on the brake.
