    Global event groups?

    Hi

Is there a way to make global event groups in the event editor (events that apply to every frame in the application, such as "always: hide the mouse pointer")?

While I'm at it, is it possible to have a frame fade to another frame at a different position/scrolling than the upper left corner of the second frame? In the frame editor, there's a "box" showing how much of the frame will be visible in the application window (since the frame is bigger than the application window/resolution), but there doesn't seem to be a way to move this box (though I don't know if that'd help), so when the frame fades in, it's showing the wrong part of the frame, and then as soon as it's done fading in, it immediately scrolls to where I wanted it to be while it loaded. Any ideas?

What programme are you using: Multimedia Fusion 1.2/1.5/2.0/Express, The Games Factory 1/2, Klik & Play, Click & Create or Jamagic?

I'm assuming you are using Multimedia Fusion 2. If you have previously used TGF/CNC/MMFX then you may be familiar with "global groups". These have been replaced in MMF with the Global Event Editor, accessible via application properties.

If you want to scroll before the fade-in then use the "Start of Frame" event and the Scrollings->Set horizontal/vertical position actions of the Storyboard Controls object (looks like a chessboard). You can transfer numbers such as co-ordinates between frames through global values (accessible via the special conditions object which has a question mark on it). Just make sure that any extensions you use during this event have the "Create before Frame fade-in transition" option set under their object properties.

Ah, yes, that did it. Thank you very much. And yes, MMF2, I forgot to say *slaps forehead*
