    [Request/idea]Pixel palette changer

    I think it's a basic request(Or idea perhaps).

    It's an extension that would work changing palettes.
    like

    (pixel palette changer) overlapping(active)
    ---((pixel palette changer))set rgb "active" (0,50,50) to rgb( 123,173,057)

    Also. with backdrops, because create so many actives and slow down the game FPS is annoying.

    ---((pixel palette changer)) set backdrop RGB (0,39,134) to rgb(032, 133, 230)

    The extension could be like an active, with transparency and colors.

    And an extension what does that would be great for water effects.

    This is a pretty nice idea, though I think rather then adding an entire palette change (or in addition), we also work on improving the per-object palette change, because at the moment, it's pretty bleak.

    well... i'm not an extension programmer, i just gave the basic idea, to tell what i want.

    I'm afraid such an extension might be very slow, because you'd still have to remap colors on a per-pixel basis. It's a problem I addressed in this topic dealing with a similar subject. If MMF had actual palette support we'd be one step closer.

    It will probably be possible to do something like that through PixelShaders.
