    host server on linux...

    As I make a server in my host site (Linux) to my game on-line in Mooclick( mmf2 ) ?

    As far as I know, yes, if it runs under the Java implementation of MOO.

    Only if it is your own server, though- you can't just use any webhost as a MOO server.

    If you don't want to go with a public server then these are your choices...

    Windows:
    TGF/CNC/MMF/MMF2 (just use the host action of the MooClick object)
    Jamagic (Use the MOO object)

    Linux:
    MOS4Linux (passive server)

    Multi-platform:
    Andrew's JavaMOS (closed source but extendible and stable)
    SteveTaylor's Java Software (sourcecode released under zlib license, supposedly unstable)

    ...If you just have a web server, it won't let you run these server applications. I'd personally opt for Andrew's JavaMOS.
