Odd behavior with 'look in direction of'

I want an object to move in the direction of another object, and stop when they overlap/collide. This works for single objects but not for multiple instances. They all take turns, and don't move in the direction of the other object until the previous instance has arrived - I want them to all move at once.

    File in file archive.

Edit - fiddled with it, got them to move all at once, but the extra instances won't look towards active 2 until the previous instance arrives.

It's a very strange behaviour - I haven't seen it before and can't quite tell why it's happening with the events that you use at the moment.

I've reworked it to use the technique of spreading values and running a fastloop to move them individually (the idea of continually creating them and setting Alterable Value A to NObjects() would theoretically work too...) and I'll post it in a minute.

Edit: Still has a bit of an issue with lots of instances - they seem to squiggle around the screen. Uploading a new file - try running, right clicking about 20 times and then left clicking to randomly place active 2. Thoughts?

Technically, all I want is an active to move towards a point. Is there a better way to achieve this?

Depends on the application your using it in, there is no one right way to do it, but theres plenty of wrong ways

I fixed the issue and posted the update in your other thread.

Re: Odd behavior with 'look in direction of'

Thanks! It almost works perfectly. One minor issue - the actives seem to stop at any active 2, not nessecarily their own. Becomes very apparent with 20 of each. Any idea how to fix that?

edit: er, I was wrong, they don't stop at each other's - sort of. It seems if an active 2 overlaps an active when pressing the mouse button, the active stays put. Which explains why that doesn't happen at the start of the frame.
