Ahh,it wont install the patch, because i have an unknown version . This is odd.

Are you sure you are running the right patch?
There are 2 -- one for standard one for Developer.

Yup got the standard patch, and it dont wanna work .

I'd suggest completely uninstalling and reinstalling MMF2 from the CD. Maybe you just had a corrupt install or something along those lines.

When the update asks to see the CD are you putting the CD in and telling the update where to look?

Yea, i thought that too, tried it but still does exactly the same thing.

And its not asking to see the CD, i click next twice, and after the agreement bit it says its unable to install because of unknown version. Wont even let me select the dir, or ask for CD.

Did you purchase the CD directly from clickteam, and if not from where? That is the only other reason I can think of that it would be having problems like this. Or if at all possible, a corrupt mmf2 disk.

No a friend gave it me as a present, as ive mentioned the program too him before. I think he got it off Ebay though ??.

I'd ask your friend about where it came from. It's clear that the disc he's given you is a bit dodgy.

Ahh, thats gutting, i really hope it aint. Im pretty sure it was an Ebay purchase, dont think it was from clickteam.
