    Copy Paste issues

Okay so I've got a whole bunch of objects arranged neatly and precisely. I need to copy and paste this arrangement of objects several times. Seems easy enough, just select them all, click 'copy', then click 'paste', then click somewhere on the screen... Oh hello, what's this? When I paste the objects down, some of them randomly go out of alignment : S which means I need to spend ages adjusting everything for every time I paste the selection!
    Ahhhh can anyone help?

This is usually caused by having a grid on (all objects align themselves to the nearest grid point on paste or movement in a selection, which admittedly is a problem in itself) - try turning off your grid.
