Good day to all,

I have look over your forums & dont see what I'm looking for. How do I make the icon that goes in the exe you make?


Here is what im doing, I make the icon then go to window tab, click on the installer Icon tab. It take me to my picture folder, then I pick the Icon I have made. Its saids

Invalid icon file! The icon file must contain the following resolutions

48X48 - 256 colors
32X32 - 256 colors
32X32 - 16 colors
16X16 - 256 colors
16X16 - 16 colors

How do I get all the resolutions in the Icon?

You need a tool like "Axialis IconWorkshop" or something similar. You can easily convert any picture you have into an icon, and create all the necessary sizes. I recommend using an icon in the size of 128x128 pixels to start with. Let the program create the smaller sizes out of the 128x128 sized icon you started with.

it exists some free scripts if you use Photoshop

That's the simplest freeware one I've found. Just make PNGs of each size / colour depth you want, load them into that, and export as a "Multiple Icon"
