Which ports are you using? USB, serial, parallel?

any door, to me it is also well a door seriale or usb, but it is important that I can operate anything in exit with this software, it is possible. you don't know how much I need this possibility. I have succeeded in taking the opening of the reader cd as only way to operate a relay. es: when the counter life it reaches zero, you open reader cd. I have modified this reader cd to operate a relay, but I want to manage a lot of more out exits

A long time ago, I read data from serial ports using an ActiveX control. Google to find more recent info on this.

Alternatively, you can request an extension to do the job in the Extensions forum.

well errr thats gotta be very insecure, sounds like the remote control cctv idea I had... use LPTOUT (find it off google) with MMF or use PHP

Re: HELP!! Multimedia fusion 2, control outboard?

there are a few activex's that will allow this... but it's not for the faint hearted there is a lot of confusion before victory.

if i were you i would go with serial... slightly easier then parralel.
usb is more confusing but is still based on serial.
in fact I'm pretty sure you can get an adapter from serial to usb.

makes you wonder why they made usb in the first place if it had no principle diffrence to serial.
anyway if you cant's get that to work you could use the file folder object to run bats (but that will end up just as confusing)

    good luck .
