    Glitch?

I have a seious problem. When I get to the end of one level in my game (I think the problem may actualy be in start of the level after) my game shuts down and one of those error messages pops up. What should I do to fix this? (This game also has a memory leak somewhere could this effect the problem?)

    What build are you running?

What are your PC specs, and what is your game trying to do at the end of the level?

    Interesting.

I can't offer much help unless I can see the source file to see the errors -- Or know how to recreate the error.

Any idea how to recreate the error?

Another thing is to make sure your running the latest build of TGF2 -- 246 (under help and about) I believe some objects have had updates along the way.

    Re: Glitch?

And what exactly does the error message say?

And if you are using an old build then definitely update, as many problems have been fixed and new features added.

If you were testing out an extention, alot of them can acually freeze your computer or just shut off your application. I often do this when I try to figure out what a extention does and I don't use a tutorial or example If you messed up with the code with certain extentions it can lead to things like this.

    Re: Glitch?

Hi guys been away for quite a while but I got back and found lots of people answered my question. Heres what comes up with the error.

Basic microsoft error Ilegal process error stuff
Cant debug. More detail comes up with this:

EDRT caused an invalid page fault in
    module EDRT.EXE at 0167:00421487.

Ive updated it to the latest update by the way.

Part comes up always. Same spot always. Every dificulty.

    Thanks

    Re: Glitch?

    New update!

Ive tried deleting everyting one by one and running the frame. The thing that when deleted didn't make the error pop up was the player's main character.

    Does that help?

You could also try the future new build:

    http://www.clickteam.com/testfiles/mmf2/tgf2b247.exe

If that doesn't fix it, could you send me your game by e-mail? (my e-mail address is in my profile) I'll try to find what happens.

    Re: Glitch?

I fixed the game this morning Yay!

I systematicly went through each and every object and action and found that it is the player's character that was having an error I just had to delete the character and make it again to solve the problem. But I never really found out what was wrong with it.

    Kinda a hollow victory?

    Re: Glitch?

Perhaps there is some corruption in your file.. might be good to upload either the original file if you have it to see if there is something specific causing it.
