Is there a way to create an edit object within runtime that has a different internal name (or index)? I am creating an app that reads an ini for how many edit boxes needs to be shown; then after pressing a key, it will process the data inputted inside the edit boxes, meaning each edit box has a different value
I think this can be done by creating an ini with the coordinates of the edit objects then creating each object via "create object" action with the supplied coordinates; then when processing I will loop a test for edit objects having a coordinate from the ini then test what data that instance of edit object has.
The problem with this approach is that it has ahhh... let me see... less finess compared to an indexed object where I could just loop the index and see what data it contains.
So, back to the original question, can an indexed edit object created at runtime be done? Remember "edit object" not an "active object"
Thanks in advance.
