    Platform movment help.

Hello, I have a bit of a problem with MMF2's built in platform movement. Yes, Ive read several threads explaining why it sucks and I should create my own using loopfast or download some extension or something like that. However...

    What I want to do:
I can make my object have path movement, and the arrow keys work great to make it jump and run and be happy, BUT I want the spacebar to be jump, and WASD to be movment, NOT the default.

I saw that shift (worst key ever, by the way) was jump in the Robinhood game that comes with MMF2. But in my custom game I cant seem to change it from the up arrow, surly its possible?

    Why I cant:
MMF2 is on a school computer, no internet, no installing, no flash drives, no nada. That means I cant download any extensions or have a guide that is too large that printing it out would kill 8 billion trees.

I feel its just some option I missed somewhere, but can anyone help me change what keys are the movement and jump keys for the built in platform movement in MMF2 with the restrictions I stated above?

Application Properties (click your application icon in the Workspace Toolbar) -> Runtime Options tab -> Players..., Default Controls -> Edit. This affects player-controlled default movements and events that use the Player objects in the event editor.

(I don't know what you have against Shift. SysRq is far worse.)

I think it's an option in the movement to use up, "fire 1" or "fire 2" as jump.

Thanks, Ill try that tomorrow at school!

Shift is the worst because after 5 jumps, STICKY KEYS pops up, and being a school computer I cant turn it off >.<.

Aha... that could be a problem. (It's not totally obvious how to turn it off in the first place, I always forget about it when I try out MMF games on a new computer.)

Yes, I very much dislike sticky keys (and it always happens when I play one of my games on a friend's computer who has not disabled sticky keys permanently.) I have to remember to always set jump to space!
