    IE vs Mozilla vs Safari

    I have extreme problems running Vitalized app (any version) in IE and Mozilla browsers.

    The following code is in .html file... IE and Mozilla only show the yellow Vitalize icon and move no further, but Safari runs the application as supposed... How can I make it run on IE and Mozilla?!? Since it works in Safari, it must be something related to IE and mozilla, but i have no idea. Is it the code?
    (i've tried even standard way of embedding with embed html tag to no avail).

    Thanx

    The primjer.ccn was made with b247 and is 640*480.

    Code:
    <object width="640" height="480" type="application/x-cnc" data="primjer.ccn"
    codebase="http://www.clickteam.com/vitalize4/vitalize.cab#Version=4,0,247,7">
    <param name="BackColor" value="255,255,255">
    <param name="ProgressBar" value="0,0,320,200">
    <param name="ProgressBarColor" value="255,0,0">
    <param name="ProgressBarBorderColor" value="0,0,0">
    </object>

    Re: IE vs Mozilla vs Safari

    I've managed to fix the problem... with the following code. I realized my mistake:

    The following code works in all three browsers, but Mozilla adds some text after the app and that is pretty annoying because i need to fit the app into the frame. No text should be output.

    Code:
    <OBJECT ID="Vitalize1" WIDTH=640 HEIGHT=480 type="application/x-cnc"
    CLASSID="CLSID:EB6D7E70-AAA9-40D9-BA05-F214089F2275"
    CODEBASE="http://www.clickteam.com/vitalize4/vitalize.cab#Version=4,0,247,10">
    <PARAM NAME="URL" VALUE="primjer.ccn">
    <PARAM NAME="BackColor" VALUE="255,255,255">
    <PARAM NAME="ProgressBar" VALUE="0,0,320,200">
    <PARAM NAME="ProgressBarColor" VALUE="255,0,0">
    <PARAM NAME="ProgressBarBorderColor" VALUE="0,0,0">
    <PARAM NAME="NameOfYourParameter" VALUE="ValueOfYourParameter">
    <EMBED TYPE="application/x-cnc"
    SRC="primjer.ccn"
    checkversion="4,0,247,10"
    PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.clickteam.com/vitalize4/download.html"
    WIDTH=640
    HEIGHT=480>
    BackColor="255,255,255"
    ProgressBar="0,0,320,200"
    ProgressBarColor="255,0,0"
    ProgressBarBorderColor="0,0,0"
    NameOfYourParameter="ValueOfYourParameter"
    </EMBED>
    </OBJECT>
    Text that mozilla adds:
    Code:
    BackColor="255,255,255" ProgressBar="0,0,320,200" ProgressBarColor="255,0,0" ProgressBarBorderColor="0,0,0" NameOfYourParameter="ValueOfYourParameter"
    Is there any tag i can put this text so it does not output to browser?

    Re: IE vs Mozilla vs Safari

    You should replace HEIGHT=480> by HEIGHT=480, and replace NameOfYourParameter="ValueOfYourParameter" by NameOfYourParameter="ValueOfYourParameter"> (i.e. move '>' just before </EMBED>)

    Does it works? (I've updated the "how to embed ..." post, there was the same mistake, sorry)
