Screen Capture using Screen Capture Extension

I've built an application that allows the user to capture a portion of the screen and make it into a bmp file. The only way I've found to do this with the screen capture extension, is to copy the entire screen and then recapture the portion that I want inside of the MMF 2 screen. The results are often mediocre and sometimes really poor.

Does anyone know a way to capture the screen directly including portions outside of the MMF application?

    Any help appreciated.

No. The only way is to capture the entire screen like you did, and then resize/crop the image.
