    Problem with updates

    My version of multimedia fusion standard won't update to build 247 or 248. It says plaease enter the root directory and nothing works in that spot.

    What am I supposed to put?(I'm on build 246)

    Is it not asking you to put your original CD in the CD drive and then tell the update which drive letter your CD drive has?

    You are supposed to enter the pathname of the root directory of the CD, for example X:\

    Yes, but then it says "D:\Data\Data\Runtime\capture.mfx:file missing"

    Is it the disc drive file name I put in or is it the multimedia fusion file name(default being C:\)????

    is it the letter of the drive that you put your MMF2 disc in followed by :\ (It is probably not C, because C is probably your main hard drive.)

    So my ROM drive would normally be D:\??

    It may or may not be D:\

    Sometimes a hard drive has different partitions (and drive letters) on it.

    If you go into windows explorer or my computer you should see all your drive letters and if you look around one should say its a CD or even a DVD -- that is the drive your looking for.

    same problem here. I can't solve it and I tryed all possible places already.
