    can you this fix?
Actually, you can find the open source over in the File Archive. I made it for fun, I never intended to keep it locked up.

    Re: MMF2 HWA Beta

Back from (short) vacation. Thanks for the comments and test reports

Crashes : if anyone is able to reproduce crashes, please send me example files, thanks ! (unless you are using a Layer object in your applications that crashes, this is a known issue in the first beta version, I forgot to put the correct version in the installer)

Ditto for slow downs : if you have an application that is slower with HWA, send me an example. Thanks !

Onu Audio that says it can't find its dll : copy this DLL to the data\runtime\hwa folder, it should work. The beta version installs files to HWA sub-folders to avoid overwriting the files of MMF2.

We'll release a new version asap.

could it be that alpha channel doesn't work? I had an active object and wanted to make it "glow". Everytime i import a *.png (24bit) it doesn't work.

    LOL

In Standard display mode I get smooth 50 FPS scrolling (this wasnt before!) but with HWA I get 30. Looks like its vice versa.

EDIT: Yeah, I was able to scroll smoothly on 70 FPS in Standard, 30 in Direct 3D 9.

The frame is 12 000x10 000 full of graphics

EDIT2: Just sent the app to Yves.

Could you send me your game? And what's your graphic card and version of Windows?

    Re: MMF2 HWA Beta

Now I can confirm that in my game is Standard absolutely sure accelerated and vice versa. With Direct X 9 its so slow as in previous version the Standard mode.
    Its perfectly smooth now!

    Re: MMF2 HWA Beta

I think there is a bug with the shader applied to a layer in edit-time : try it with the shader "CS - Flip" to see that the result of the frame is not displayed correctly and is not refreshed correctly when scrolling in and out of the frame.

EDIT: It seems that a shader on a layer is applied to the image of the layer+borders. It could be great to do the same thing for the active objects. Thanks to that, some pretty cool effects could be done (glow and flags rendered out of the object for example)

Ah yes, it doesn't work correctly when you scroll the frame. And of course as the layer is flipped you cannot select easily the objects lol. I should probably add an option to disable effects on layers in the frame editor.

It's not refreshed correctly but it's not rendered correctly too. The result image is not well centered (but it is in runtime)...

Too see what I mean, try the "CS - SinWave" effect on a layer and on an active and compare.
