Note: This is using R246, not the HWA beta (but this problem did begin after installing HWA and uninstalling it.)
Heres a screenshot from Bonesaw:
You may notice some sprites scattered about in the sky. This is the result of some very strange sprite-replacement thing that multimedia fusion is doing now. Those are supposed to be little 4x4 and 8x8 stars in the background, but MMF2 replaced them with the main character's sprite, and some enemy sprites.
I have no clue why this started happening, but it seems to be completely random. The only thing that I can say for sure is that this is happening on frames that are using the Onu extension to play music. Onu has also been giving me some problems with crashing while stopping and fade stopping decks.
When I test levels that do not use Onu, none of this seems to be occuring, but then again this did not start until *After* I installed the HWA beta and I didnt even use it to touch bonesaw's .mfa files.
Sorry about making a new thread about this, but I didnt want it to be lost in the 9+ pages of the HWA thread.
Here are some more examples from the same level:
1 2 3 4
After some further testing, this only seems to happen on this particular level, and after I cleared the level once and went back, the graphical glitches were gone. But I'm still a little concerned as to why this happened...
