it'd be a good idea to have an HWA version of the lens object since it has options that would be harder to code into a shader (like importing images from an AO)
But would you even need to import images?
Active object are already animated, and they can import images too!
actually using active object as an example probably wasn't the best idea... being able to import images from Overlay Redux sounds better
Ah. Gotcha.
AFAIK you can't read from the underlying pixels from the pixel shaders right now, but when it happens I will have a look at it![]()
