    a question about shaders

    How would you go about making shaders that needed to be pixel-precise? Say, for example, you wanted a shader that simulated scanlines. If each scanline needed to be exactly (or very close to) 1 pixel tall, regardless of the size of the object/layer, how would you do it?

    The main reason i'm asking is because i know that the input textures are from 0.0 and 1.0 instead of a raw pixel value, though many effects look better if you can work with individual pixels

    Hmm... we could probably add the pixel size in global variables. For example a fPixelWidth variable equal to 0.02 if the with of the image is 50 pixels. Would it solve the problem?
