    Konjak, the crash is fixed and the Invert ink effect will be in the next update, later today hopefully.

    Confirmed in MMF2 Dev, Build 1e, Direct3D9-Mode:

    -Create a string object, disable "display as background".
    -Create a active, order to background.

    Result:
    String object displayed under active in frame editor and Direct3D9-mode.
    Also, if active and string on different layers.
    But standard-mode, DirectX and Direct3D8 are OK.

    Edit:
    Frame editor has to be closed and reopened to see the effect.
    In build c or d this bug has not occurred.

    Yes this bug is a known issue and is fixed in the next build. I thought someone had mentioned weird display in the previous version, maybe I'm wrong.

    I don't know if this has already been said, but the fade transistions don't seem to work properly with HWA. In fact, they don't seem to appear at all. And also, when I'm changing object's action point, or object's speed, and then go to event editor, MMF2 crashes.

    Transitions are not supported in HWA mode currently.

    When using the pixel shader, Blend Shader Example, you get strange results when using the offset in the APO if you set the RGB color to certain colors. Colored bars appear between the picture areas.
