Vitalize Game Making Competition

The Prizes for this competition will be as follows:
1. MMF Developer or a $250 Amazon gift card (Winners Choice).
2. Power Users Guide to Windows Development Book.
3. Awesome Game Creation 3rd Edition Book.
4. Make Amazing Games in Minutes book.
There is no theme for this competition, just make a game that is fun to play online. Games should not contain strong violence or any bad language. All games must be family friendly.
The Rules
1. Judges decision is final. Any games that do not meet the criteria may be barred from entry.
2. Maximum game CCN file size must not exceed 5MB.
3. All CCN games must be uploaded to a webpage (in zip format) or emailed to Jason@makeamazing.com before the deadline. As long as we have the link before the end of the deadline your entry will count. Please ensure your link is available for the duration of the competition.
4. You may enter more than one entry, but you will not be allowed to win more than one prize.
5. Closing date for the competition will be at 5PM on SUNDAY 3rd February. Any late entries will not be able to win a prize, but can still be judged, depending on the timeframe.
6. You may update/modify your entry as many times as you like prior to the closing deadline - but once you have sent us the game link your game will be entered into the competition.
7. Depending on the number of entries we receive will depend on the timeframe for results. Results should be known within a week of the competition end.
8. With your submission email you must provide your real name and your forum name. A screenshot of your game at 200x130, and a thumbnail screenshot of your game at 108x70. We will also need a brief description of what your game is. Your game should not exceed 640x480 in screen size.
9. By submitting your game you will give CT permission to upload the game to Madword.com and link to it if required from the CT website. You will also be giving CT permission to use screenshots in potential marketing material. You retain full rights over any games you enter into the competition, and may also provide a website link or address within the game itself to advertise your own website.
10. Any links to websites within the games must also be family friendly. If you are in any doubt about the nature of your site for this competition, it is recommended that you remove any such links to ensure your entry is accepted.
11. You must not use copyrighted material, graphics, or sounds in your games. You are of course allowed to use media from the Clickteam CD's.
12. All sounds and graphics must be internal to the game.
13. All games will be uploaded to Mad word before judging starts to allow people to play and comment on them. All games on madword get a star rating out of 5. An extra 5 points will be awarded based on the games score on Madword.com and any comments about the game will be taken into consideration. Please do not abuse the Madword scoring system for your own games.
Judging Criteria
Graphics = 35 Points
Sound = 25 Points
Game Play = 35 Points
Voting on Madword = 5
