    Negative to posetive

Can someone tell me how to transform a negative number into posetive. -32 ---> 32

To be exact: I need a counter's number to become the number of loops in a fast loop.

    Thanks.

    Abs(-32) will become 32.

Another solution would be to multiply the counter with -1

    Re: Negative to posetive

Just thought a little clarification would be useful, since the two methods are helpful in slightly different situations.

abs() will always return a positive value, so abs(20) and abs(-20) will both return 20.

Multiplying the value by -1 on the other hand will reverse the sign, so 20*-1 will equal -20 and -20*-1 will equal 20.

Its always useful to know why your doing something

Set counter value to 0-counter value if it's negative.
