    all have same alternative value

    is there a condition that says "all have the same value"? I only want this event to happen if they all have the same alternative value A.

    Thanks,
    Skeets

    Compare two general values: Alterable value of "active1" equal 1
    + Alterable value of "active2" equal 1
    etc

    Re: all have same alternative value

    You can run a loop and test for it.

    First make a counter.

    Then head over to the event editor:

    * Start of level (or always)
    - Active: spread 0 to alterable value ID

    * Always
    - Start loop "Test for same value"

    * On loop "Test for same value"
    + ID of Active = 0
    - Set counter to alterable value X of Active

    * On loop "Test for same value"
    + ID of Active = LoopIndex("Test for same value")
    + ID of Active > 0
    + counter <> alterable value X of active
    - stop loop
    - counter: set current value to -9999

    * if counter <> -9999
    - do action

    I didn't test it, so there might be minor mistakes.

    What is happening here is that a counter gets the value of the first object we test for. Then it tests the other object to see if any of them has another value. If so, it stops the loop and sets the counter to -9999. This value can be whatever you want, just pick a value that no object ever should have.

    After the loop is over, it checks if the counter is not -9999. If it isn't, it means that all the object's alterable value X is the same.
