Hi, right now I'm trying to write a pixel shader that will change the hue to the luminosity, and the saturation and luminosity will then become 1, and the alpha is unaffected. I'm trying to get an effect like the star power in the Mario games.
I can't get it to work just right (probably because I screwed up the syntax somewhere, I barely even know c++).
If anyone has a spare moment, I would really appreciate if somebody would take a look at this, because I have no idea why it won't work.
BTW, to convert to HSL, I was just following this.
EDIT: Almost forgot to say that there is 1 parameter, the hue offset for after the color has been converted, so the rainbow colors will shift around.
