    Right click new event
    Right click the runtime object (top left, first icon)
    Select "compare two general values"

    Ah yes thanks for that. I've got it kind of working but now I have the problem of the enemy turning a full circle whenever he's near the player

    I think there's a rotate "" degress thing somewhere...

    I'll try to find it.

    And you could probably use stAstrill's way, using compare two general values...

    Thanks Aidan. I did try the rotate function but unfortunately while the sprite is rotated, it continues to move in the original direction.

    Try using the Dir variable and set your direction to that?

    Hm...

    I'll go and experiment in TGF2...
