    Global event groups

    I'd like to make a suggestion for the next build - Global events are excellent, but sometimes we have frames where certain global events shouldn't happen. My traditional way of dealing with this is using global values set at the start of these frames, which the global events detect and then deactivate certain groups, but it'd be really nice to have this a little more direct.

    What I mean is, why not have the ability to deactivate a group of global events, from inside of a frame? So, say I had a group in my global events called "Platform Movement", in a cut-scene, menu screen, etc, wherever needed, I could add an event inside of that particular frame saying "Start of Frame: Deactivate Group 'Global: Platform Movement'."

    Good idea.
    Also maybe add a checkbox in frame properties to enable/disable all global events for that frame.
    This would be useful in a mainmenu frame for example.

    How about this:
    There is an object you can add which is the events object, when you edit it, it is just its own event editor. These objects are always global. Then on the storyboard editor, you drag and drop the event objects you want to run on certain frames.

    I don't think this is such a big deal. Let's say the global events should not be active on frame 1 and 2, simply put all global events in a deactivated group, and then have an event outside this group that activates the group if frame > 2.

    This does become painful in larger projects though, especially if you start reorganising frames.

    Re: Global event groups

    Add these 2 Global Events for every global group:
    * On Loop "ActivateGlobalTest"
    - Activate Group Test

    * On Loop "DeactivateGlobalTest"
    - Deactivate Group Test

    Then simply start the loops from any frame to open/close the groups

    Compare two general values - > storyboard controls -> current number of frame <Different> number of your frame
