16 / 9 resolution doesnt work in full screen...

We are a group making a game and right now we are trying out different resolutions. We wanted 16 / 9, 854 x 480 but on some computers the fullscreen mode doesnt work. The program creats fullscreen but the image size is still not filling out and keeps the original size.

What is the problem?

In the runtime options tab in the frame properties, there is a checkbox named "resize to sceen at start".

Try that. Ive never attempted this but that would be my first guess.

I'll confirm that _most_ widescreen pc monitors are 16:10, not 16:9.
e.g my work monitors are 1440x900, and my home monitor is 1680x1050.
The 16x9 "monitors" tend to be small tft tvs, which just happen to have a dvi/vga input.

EDIT: There are no official 16:10 aspect ratio resolutions between 320x200 and 1280x800.
EDIT2: Some documents/websites refer to 16:10 aspect as 8:5.
