Please help! I need a Full-Featured example

Hi everybody, I just registered today to this forum, but I've been reading it this whole month.

I did every tutorial from this site, but I'm having problems connecting things, making them work together.

It's very different to just have an isolated example, to have a whole thing built out of different elements.

That's why I'm asking for a full example of a game.
I've searched everywhere for the source files for games like "Knytt Stories", "I Wanna Be The Guy", "Heart Forth, Alicia" and many others, but it looks like they never released them.

So, if any of you have a game that have many features, like a start screen, options, different levels in different frames, custom movement, sound events, etc. that can share with me, I will be thankful forever.

I just feel frustrated because is not that I'm lacking creativity to make my own game, but my skills in using the very tool that can make it happen.

Source files? You will not find the source files for those games I'm afraid, unless the Author is kind enough but I highly doubt it. What do you need help with? "Stealing" or "Checking out" the source codes wont do any help for you if you don't understand them.

You should describe what type of game you are trying to make and our community will help you.

Wow... I just want to learn from people who are more experienced than me, I'm not trying to steal anyone's hard work!

And as I wrote before, I do understand the codes, it's just that sometimes I don't know how to blend them and make them work together.

Maybe I should just start one thread at the time, depending of what I need help with, right?

if you have the full version of MMF2 Dev. - you´ll find some full game examples on CD 2...

Hi Kris. Yeah do that. Start on your idea, and when you get stuck the forum will help you. This way you are learning at your speed.

The games you mentioned might make your frustration worse rather than clear things up for you.

There is not a question that will not be answered I can asure you.

You wouldn't understand the codes for those really advanced games. Start of with smaller games and work your way up

Hey! This is an old game that I have stopped working on. Please do take a look at it and learn from it. It is quite old (started on in 2001) so much would be done different today. But it is a complete game so I guess it's what you were asking for.
It's a lemmings clone.

I'm sorry, is just that I got too excited over the idea of making my own game and wanted to learn as fast as possible!
