Basically, the problem which I am experiencing is that my animations will not restart after they've been stopped.
I have a sixteen frame attack animation in the game I'm working on. The idea is that the weapon should take a proportionately longer time to retract the farther it is thrown. Thus, if a weapon strikes an opponent on frame zero, I wish to skip to the last frame and restart the animation so it appears to return quickly. To that end, I have: (note that the attack animation is stopped elsewhere, in the collision detection section)
Force animation frame to 15
Does this just not work at all? I've tried it in the alternate order; no dice. If this doesn't work, what's the best way to go about fixing this?
