    Fill Shape with Texture

I have a list, containing lots of lines of X and Y coordinates. These points make up an irregular shape that can have any amount of sides. I want to fill this shape with a texture or an image. I can use Overlay to draw the points together in a loop, but I don't know how to 'fill' it with a texture.

    Any ideas?

You could use two overlays :
One with your texture (bigger than the shape)
One overlay where you should draw your shape, then fill the inside with the transparent colour

Paste the second overlay over the first and voilà !

Yes, you can do it with two overlays...

...or waiting for the release of the VectorialShape object which can do that (but there is no date for its release...).

    Re: Fill Shape with Texture

The overlay method should work if what you wanted was a direct cut-out of a texture, but if you wanted something like in a 3d engine where you would stretch a texture over a polygon, that can't be done as easily. There are some examples and perhaps an object that might be relevant, but they won't be very helpful since, at least without HWA, it takes too long to render in any real use.
