    Trojan horse warning

I made an install package of my software with unregistered version of the Install Creator 2.0 (build #31).

After this I got a warning from the AVG Free edition: Trojan Horse SHeur.AVTG for the setup file.

Does your program contain a Trojan?

    Re: Trojan horse warning

    No our products do not.

We all should bother AVG about another False positive.
You might also want to scan your own files to be sure they didn't get infected as there has not been a false positive in a long time.

    Re: Trojan horse warning

AVG has messed up like this a few times. Follow the AVG guidelines to get it fixed:
If you suspect a file to be a false positive. Test the file at [virusscan.jotti.org] and if it is a false positive, archive (zip, arc, tar etc) the file using a password and email a copy to virus@grisoft.com with a brief description as well as the password you used to archive it with.

If it is a false positive , turn off hueristic scanning for the time being. When Grisoft adjusts the virus defintions you can turn it back on. If turning off Hueristics still doesn't allow access to the file while testing and emailing... disable the resident shield temporarily.
If people don't report instances of false positives to Grisoft through the proper channels then it won't get fixed.

    Re: Trojan horse warning

I also had this false positive warning with AVG 7.5 and checked my installers with Kaspersky 7, just to be sure. It´s definetly NO trojan in the installer, just a false positive from AVG.
It´s fixed now, AVG doesn´t show the trojan anymore.
