    Load/Save Frame Example?

Everytime I use this feature, I get an "An Error has occured while writing the file"

The odd thing is, it must be saving, because while I still get a similar "An Error has occured while reading the file", for a short while it loads it as it should, then immeditly resets the frame.

Any idea what could be causing this error? If anyone has an example file, it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    -Nick

Upload it in the file archive and I am sure someone can take a look

    Re: Load/Save Frame Example?

I wouldn't be too enthusiastic with publicly posting my code, but I did find a bit of a workaround of sorts.

Judging by how it reacts in the different frames in my game, i'd say the feature does not like alot of things going on, as it works in my more basic Menu type frames.

So while it doesn't do exactly what i'd like it to, with a save screen dialog and some global values being carried over to it, saving via that method works flawlessly.

Id still be up for sending it directly to the programmers of MMF if they'd be wanting to pinpoint the exact reason for the error.

But im at least happy I got it sort of working in some form.

    Thanks,
    -Nick

You don't have to post your entire code, just a watered-down version that contains only the problem. It helps people to specifically see what's going wrong, and also how to correct it. So if possible, I would suggest taking out anything that isn't related to the problem, and posting the file in the archive. Even if you did find a workaround, someone else could be having the same problem and providing a solution for the community may help others.

Good point. I created a new version, deleted pretty much everything in the frame and all code except for the 2 lines that save and load, and the error is still there, so i'll upload it now.
